Location: Don Khon, 4000 Islands, Laos
The Li Phi Waterfalls, aka Tat Somphamit, aka the Devil's Corridor, are an incredible sight to see. They're also only a short bike ride down the dirt paths of Don Det and across the concrete bridge that leads into Don Khon. I was blown away by the sharp, surreal cliffs and the frothing water that rushes endlessly through them. It was unlike any other waterfall I'd encountered; I'd almost compare it to rough rapids rather than traditional falls. It's all set inside a private park. You pay a small fee at the entrance for access to an unmonitored view of this natural wonder.
Expenses:
- Waterfall Entry Fee: $1.50
- Bike rental: $1.25
