Location: Baguio City, Northern Luzon, The Philippines
They call Baguio City the “summer capital” of the Philippines because it’s the only place that remains cool during the unbearably humid, hellishly hot months of June-August. It’s known for the daily rains, secondhand shopping, and strawberry fruit products (it’s the only area strawberries grow because everywhere else is in the Philippines is too hot). It’s also the central hub for traveling to anywhere in northern Luzon.
